Call to Action — Immediate Needs
We’ve got a couple of needs you can help us out with in our Call to Action!
$4,000 Needed for Traditional Arts Program in Schools Grant Matching Support
(Help us meet the matching requirement for our TAPS Grant from the NC Arts Council. By doing so, you’ll be helping to support this important hands-on clay programming with Seagrove area 5th-grade students.)$2,500 Needed for 2027 NC Potters Conference Artist Stipend Support
(Conference-related expenses keep going up. Help us keep this important conference for ceramic artists from NC and across the United States viable while keeping pricing as affordable as reasonably possible.)$1,500 Needed for Temporary Exhibitions Support
(The cost of quality promotional and educational signage for exhibitions is getting out of hand. Help us defray those costs and keep our temporary exhibitions and signage looking as nice as possible.)
Want to have a long-term impact?
A Matching Challenge Grant Opportunity!
This Matching Challenge Grant Opportunity is the second most significant event in the Center's history, following its opening to the public in November 1998. We thank the Windgate Foundation, a private Arkansas-based foundation, for recognizing the importance of our nonprofit mission, Sharing North Carolina’s Clay Stories, Past and Present, and for providing us with this amazing opportunity.
THE OPPORTUNITY
All funds raised for the Challenge, up to $400,000 per year through fiscal year 2027-28, will be matched annually. All funds raised and matched will be allocated to endowments for the Center.
Why is this needed? To ensure LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY.
Why is this important? Because it is a TRANSFORMATIONAL OPPORTUNITY.
It's only an Opportunity though, until WE, TOGETHER, make it Reality, and we would love to have YOUR help making it Reality.
